It seems that more and more people are home throughout the day. I've been a work at home professional for several years; thus, I know the day-to-day happenings in my neighborhood and I've come to a conclusion. People either live a privilege life, wherein they don't have to go to work each day, or they've discovered creative ways to make money at home.

My decision to make money at home started eight years ago. Between juggling college and part-time work, I was mentally exhausted and looking for a change. I started looking for different opportunities. If you've ever attempted to make money at home, you're likely familiar with the array of "supposedly" legitimate work at home opportunities. Rather than get caught up in a scam or invest in a multi-level marketing business (my life was already chaotic, and I didn't have time to build a down line), I opened a home daycare with my mother. This decision started it all. I was able to make more money. In fact, I made a full-time salary on part-time hours.

This experience taught me a lot - I could make money at home and earn a decent living. This home business venture was a stepping stone to bigger and better things.
